NC Machine Tool Operator - A Shift (M-TH 5AM-3:30PM)

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment including saws, polishers, grinders, hand tools, NC and manual milling machines, and CMMs as required.
• Produce high-quality parts.
• Operate one or more NC Machines as required.
• Follow standard escalation processes.
• Adhere to and follow standard work procedures.
• Complete vouchers as required.
• Complete training and certification as required.
• Follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
• Perform material handling duties as needed.
• Perform operator preventive maintenance per standards.
• Safely perform rigging tasks and lifts using cranes and related equipment.
• Participate in process improvements and cycle reductions to support team and site goals.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
• Maintain accurate records, both written and digital.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Use gauging equipment as required.
• Perform calculations as needed.
• Complete assigned online training modules.
• Perform tasks as outlined in the NC Machine Tool Operator training matrix.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized machinist or toolmaker course (e.g., tech school, military or industrial program), OR
• High School Diploma / GED with at least 1 year of experience in CNC multi-axis machining setup and operation.

Desired Characteristics

• Two-year post-secondary degree in Machine Tool Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years manual machining experience (mill, turn, or drill).

Eligibility Requirements

• Flexibility: Willingness to work A shift (5 AM - 3:30 PM; Mon-Thu).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.) with or without accommodations.
• Successful completion of a machinist assessment, background check, and drug screening is required.

Pay Rate: $28.8990/hour. The posting is expected to close on August 18, 2025.
