Position: Senior DS Engineer with Security Clearance
Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES
* Experience implementing ISP/OSP distribution systems, including fiber and copper infrastructure installation, testing, and maintenance.
* Survey ISP/OSP infrastructure to assess current systems and plan for improvements.
* Design cable plant solutions to ensure efficient and effective network connectivity.
* Inspect installation quality to ensure all systems meet industry standards and requirements.
* Document infrastructure to maintain accurate records of installations and updates.
* Test connectivity to verify the proper functionality of the network systems.
* Maintain existing systems, ensuring continued performance and reliability.
* Support migrations by ensuring smooth transitions and minimal service interruptions.
* Create materials lists to ensure the proper resources are available for installations and upgrades. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in relevant field

* Strong understanding of ISP/OSP fundamentals

* Proficiency in cable testing and troubleshooting

* Expertise in fiber splicing techniques

* Experience with infrastructure design and implementation

* Skilled in technical documentation and reporting

* Must have an active Secret clearance CERTIFICATIONS
* BICSI Technician or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with DoD infrastructure systems
* Proficiency in project coordination and management
