As an advanced practice nurse, this role involves independent judgment and decision‑making as well as consultation and collaboration with other members of the health‑care team. The NP enhances the continuity of quality patient care; amplifies communication between the physician, family members, and the health‑care team;
and extends the capabilities of the medical care team. If this position is based in a perioperative setting the NP will be required to perform clinical procedures outlined by the individual department requirements. Position: Nurse Practitioner, NP – Endocrinology
Shift: Full Time, 40 hours/week. Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. No Weekend or Holidays. On call required on a rotating schedule.
Experience- 1 year Clinical Nurse Practitioner experience required.
- 2 years Endocrinology experience preferred.
- A minimum of two years nursing experience in a specific clinical area preferred.
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.
- MSN required.
- Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP).
- BLS certification required.
- Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
