MD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a vital clinical team member, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working alongside medical providers, and contributing to a supportive, collaborative environment.

Your Impact- Patient Care & Triage:
Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs. Assist with patient exams, ensuring equipment and documentation are prepared, while supporting providers during testing and procedures. - Clinical Procedures:
Perform diagnostic and testing procedures (vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more); execute point-of-care testing (strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid panel, urinalysis); provide cardiac and airway management (ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, oxygen); deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per regulations. - Patient Engagement & Documentation:
Assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, explain medication or therapy plans; maintain accurate electronic medical records and observe/report changes in patients’ conditions. - Clinic Operations:
Ensure instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained; maintain a stocked and sterile workspace to support clinic operations. - Collaboration with Clinical Team:
Work with the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of care; communicate effectively with providers and other healthcare professionals; welcome and support training of new team members.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in consecutive and/or non-consecutive days.
- Full-time: three 12-hour shifts per week with at least four shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
- Part-time: two 12-hour shifts per week with at least two shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
- Per diem: four 12-hour shifts per month, ideally one shift each week.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays.
- If needed, must be able to work at a minimum of three other Convenient
MD locations within one hour travel distance from your primary clinic. - Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one hour commute.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED required. - Certification and experience:
State licensed practical nurse (LPN) with prior IV placement/monitoring experience; for Maine and New Hampshire, IV certification is required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification:
American Heart Association or American Red Cross; CPR/ACLS or online-only courses are not accepted. - Compassionate, authentic, and patient-focused:

Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn Experity and other systems.
- 1-2 years of patient triage experience in urgent care or emergency department preferred.
