Description:
The RN is an essential member of the Patient Care Team. They are responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit. The RN delegates interventions that may be performed by others. They supervise as appropriate and assist in maintaining a safe environment for effective nursing care. The RN provides education to patients and families.
They collaborate with other health professionals in the planning and management of health care. Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge is preferred or must be obtained before completing orientation. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training is preferred or must be obtained before completing orientation. The individual must be a responsible, supportive team player. They should have the ability to work well in high-stress situations.
Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
