. Chipotle’s Kitchen Leader ensures that the kitchen is clean, organized, well‑stocked, and that food is prepared to high quality and safety standards. The role includes leadership, training, and fostering a teamwork‑driven environment that delivers a great customer experience.

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back‑of‑house Crew and front‑of‑house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure excellent service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and maintain it in good repair; arrange repairs ASAP when malfunctioning.
• Ensure the kitchen and all Crew members meet safety and injury‑prevention guidelines.
• Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and practice Inventory Rotation (FIFO).

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Proficiency in speaking, writing, and understanding the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma (mandatory).
• Restaurant experience.
