Job Description Summary
The Field Service Technician will be assigned a truck and travel daily to customer sites to repair and maintain equipment. This role requires experienced technicians who can diagnose and repair equipment independently. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs on a variety of equipment, including machine overhauls, minor repairs, and rebuilds of components such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
The technician will disassemble machines, order parts, make repairs, reassemble, and verify operational status. Use Anderson’s systems to document work orders, track repairs, and order parts, while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with a two-year technical degree or comparable military training
- Minimum of 5 years experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of equipment operations, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or with others
- Proficiency with computers and diagnostic software
- Ownership of adequate hand tools
- Valid Driver’s License; CDL preferred
Compensation And Benefits
- Hourly wage: $34.00-$45.00, depending on location and experience
