NFI North is currently looking for Relief Direct Care Counselors to work in our Summit View Program, located in Bangor, Maine. We have an immediate opening for Relief Residential Counselors/Behavioral Health Professionals in our Residential and In-home Treatment Program serving youth ages 10–20.
Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for participants
- Supervise participants
- Provide crisis intervention
- Case management and advocacy, including all related documentation
- One year working with youth
- Current BHP or CRMA certification is a plus
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to assume and delegate responsibilities and exercise decision making
- Preference for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in human services, social work, psychology, sociology or equivalent
