Permanent An established, listed financial services organisation is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its growing Group Finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will take ownership of management accounting and reporting activities while supporting a range of financial control, statutory reporting and process-improvement projects. Key responsibilities Produce accurate monthly management accounts and reporting packs Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and balance-sheet reconciliations Deliver clear management information to Finance Directors and senior stakeholders Support month-end and year-end close Assist with statutory accounts, plc reporting and external audit requirements Maintain strong financial controls and documented accounting processes Work collaboratively with finance teams across the wider Group Identify opportunities to improve reporting, systems and finance processes Support wider projects and ad hoc analysis as required About you ACA, ACCA or CIMA Strong management accounting and month-end experience Confident preparing and presenting financial information Excellent attention to detail and a strong controls mindset Comfortable working with senior stakeholders Able to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with in financial services, insurance or a listed organisation would be advantageous but is not essential This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and experienced finance team within a successful, growing organisation. The position offers broad exposure across management accounting, statutory reporting and Group Finance, alongside genuine opportunities to improve existing processes.
