Required:

Approximately 30 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with final hours to be agreed with the successful candidate.

Driver: Yes, a driver with own car is required.

Overview

A returning client based in Banstead, Surrey, is seeking an experienced, proactive and highly organised Housekeeper / Family PA to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of a busy family home.

This is a varied role combining high‑standard housekeeping with wider household organisation, coordination and PA‑style support. The family are looking for someone capable, practical, and highly organised who will take genuine pride in ensuring the household is consistently well‑run and always in order.

Alongside the housekeeping responsibilities, the role includes managing household supplies, coordinating contractors and household services, handling errands and deliveries, assisting with diary and travel‑related administration and helping oversee ongoing household projects and refurbishment works over time.

The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys taking ownership, is naturally proactive, and becomes a key part of the household's smooth running.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full housekeeping to a high standard
  • Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
  • Ensuring the household remains organised, tidy and running smoothly at all times
  • Managing household stock levels and supplies
  • Coordinating contractors, household suppliers and maintenance appointments
  • Booking and overseeing cleaning, gardening, repairs and household services
  • Running errands and handling day‑to‑day household tasks
  • Accepting deliveries and arranging collections and returns
  • Assisting with diary management and travel‑related administration
  • Supporting ongoing household projects and refurbishment works
  • Working proactively and independently to take ownership of the smooth running of the household
Requirements
  • Previous experience working within a private household in a similar role
  • Strong housekeeping standards and attention to detail
  • Highly organised with good initiative and common sense
  • Comfortable managing contractors and household logistics
  • Able to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Reliable, discreet and professional
  • Warm, calm and easy‑going personality
