Role Details

This specialist school is a magnificent OFSTED Outstanding school. The school is currently seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support in their setting. This role is full time (5 days a week) and term time only (8:45-4:45pm). The role will start ASAP and offers a fabulous opportunity for a committed, nurturing and empathetic individual.

Applicants will be responsible for helping Children from the age of 7 years with severe and complex needs including but not limited to Autism, ASD and SEMH needs. Each child receives a 1:1 education that is catered to their needs and goals in a practical, accessible and thought provoking curriculum.

As a teaching assistant your development will be a priority; the setting will provide the skills (and qualifications) to become a HLTA and then SEN trainee Teacher in the future. All training and qualifications are fully funded. The school boasts brilliant grounds and exceptional facilities. Requirements
  • Relevant teaching or care assistant experience (desirable)
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • SEN experience (desirable)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
