About the roleThe role involves teaching Humanities across KS3 and KS4, planning and assessing in line with curriculum expectations, and contributing to the wider school community. KS5 teaching may be available depending on experience.
We are looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Deliver high quality Humanities lessons that support progress
- Plan and assess effectively in line with curriculum needs
- Create a positive learning environment
- Support student achievement through feedback and intervention
- Work collaboratively with the Humanities team
The ideal candidate would have:
- QTS or equivalent qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Humanities
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
