About the roleThe role involves teaching PE across KS3 and KS4, delivering both practical sessions and classroom‑based theory, and contributing to extracurricular sport. KS5 teaching may be available depending on experience.
Key responsibilities- Deliver high quality PE lessons that support progress.
- Plan and assess effectively in line with curriculum needs.
- Create a positive and safe learning environment.
- Support student achievement through feedback and intervention.
- Contribute to extracurricular sport and wider school life.
- QTS or equivalent qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in PE.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one.
Any adult working with children and vulnerable young people is responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of the children and young people.
