Growth Marketing Executive Ashford, Kent – Hybrid Up to £35,000 Are you already working in marketing and ready to take on more ownership? Do you have some hands-on experience of campaigns, CRM, email marketing, content or lead generation and want to understand how all of those pieces work together? Looking for a role where you can bring your own ideas, experiment and see the commercial impact of the marketing you deliver?

We are recruiting for a Growth Marketing Executive to join an established international software business working with major newspaper and magazine publishers around the world. This is a broad, hands-on role sitting closely alongside the sales team. You won't be joining a large marketing department where you are responsible for one tiny piece of the puzzle. Instead, you will get involved across campaigns, content, lead generation, events, CRM and reporting, helping turn marketing activity into genuine sales opportunities.

You will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, who will set the overall growth strategy, but there will be plenty of scope for you to bring ideas, test different approaches and take ownership of delivery. You will get involved in:
Creating and delivering email, Linked In, paid and organic campaigns Building and segmenting target audiences Supporting outbound prospecting and lead generation Qualifying and managing marketing leads before passing opportunities to the sales team Creating content including blogs, case studies, whitepapers and sales collateral Supporting webinars, conferences and industry events Managing campaign and lead activity within the CRM Monitoring campaign performance and understanding what is generating engagement, leads and pipeline Supporting website and landing page activity Working closely with Business Development Managers to understand which campaigns and leads are converting Bringing forward new campaign ideas and testing different approaches What we are looking for You don't need to have done everything above already, but we are now looking for someone who has gained some commercial marketing experience and understands what it is like to deliver marketing activity within a real business.

You may currently be a Marketing Executive, Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Executive or similar and be ready for a broader role. Ideally, you will have some experience across several of the following:
Email marketing and campaigns CRM systems such as Hub Spot or Salesforce Audience segmentation Social and Linked In marketing Content creation Campaign reporting and analytics Lead generation or working alongside a sales team Website or landing page management Events or webinars B2B, SaaS or technology experience would be useful but isn't essential. More important is that you are commercially curious.

We want someone who doesn't simply ask “Did the campaign get engagement?” but also wants to know “Did it generate the right leads and what happened to them?” You will need to be comfortable bringing ideas to the table, trying things, looking at the results and changing your approach when something isn't working. This would suit somebody who has already built the foundations of their marketing career and is now looking for the opportunity to broaden their experience and become a much more commercially focused marketer.
