Join SSM Health at the Baraboo Clinic, a large and esteemed primary care and multi‑specialty facility located in beautiful Lake Country, WI, just 30 minutes from Madison. We are seeking a passionate pediatrician to share pediatric and neonatal on‑call responsibilities with dedicated providers in the Baraboo Region re Hospital and to cover newborn admissions and provide essential pediatric telephone support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pediatric and neonatal care at the Baraboo Clinic and St. Clare Hospital.
• Cover newborn admissions and provide bedside care.
• Offer pediatric telephone support and consult with Family Medicine partners.
• Participate in a shared call schedule (maximum 1:4).
• Engage in potential telemedicine opportunities.
• Shadow residents as part of the family medicine residency program.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with specialized training in Pediatrics.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to compassionate care in a community setting.

Hospital overview: SSM Health – St. Clare Hospital is a 100‑bed facility offering 24‑hour Level 3 trauma care, 24/7 hospitalist coverage, full laboratory and pathology services, and approximately 300 deliveries per year. The ICU has 6 beds and the hospital partners with Hicuity Telemedicine. The surrounding communities include Baraboo, Merrimac, Rock Springs, North Freedom, Lyndon Station, Lake Delton, and Wisconsin Dells.
