• Program Leadership:
  Implement scheduled group and one-on-one programs that foster social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
• Resident Engagement:
  Spend meaningful time with residents, assisting with mobility and encouraging participation in a long-term care setting.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate attendance records and monitor resident behavior, reporting key observations to the nursing team.
• Coordination:
  Work with the Activities Director to plan creative events and manage holiday decorations.
• Logistics:
  Set up and break down activity areas, ensuring supplies are organized and inventoried.

• Experience:
  
  Previous experience working in a long-term care facility.
• Training:
  An artistic background or previous instruction from a Certified Activity Consultant.
• Leadership:
  Proven ability to lead group programs and work effectively both independently and as part of a group.
• Physicality:
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a high-energy, fast-paced workflow.
• Communication:
  Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Teamwork: A supportive team player who leads by example and contributes to a positive culture.
• Composure:
  Ability to maintain a positive attitude, exercise sound judgment, and remain composed in stressful situations.
• Efficiency:
  Highly organized, efficient, and able to manage daily tasks with minimal supervision.
