Role Description  The TGT – Physics/Chemistry role is a full-time, on-site teaching position based ustine’s Day School for Boys in Barrackpur-II. The educator will plan and deliver engaging Physics and Chemistry lessons aligned with the school curriculum, using a variety of teaching methods to support different learning styles. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, designing laboratory activities, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback.

The role involves maintaining accurate academic records, supporting students through remedial and enrichment sessions, and collaborating with colleagues to integrate technology and innovative practices into teaching. The teacher will also participate in school events, parent interactions, and co-curricular activities that contribute to students’ holistic development.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong subject knowledge in Physics or Chemistry with

B.Ed(must).
Candidates should possess relevant expertise in both Practical and Theoretical areas of the subject.
Relevant academic qualification such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, with a recognized teacher training certification (B.Ed or equivalent).
Freshers can apply Candidates with atleast 1 year's experience in teaching middle or secondary school learners, with skill in classroom management and student-centered pedagogy.
Ability to design and conduct safe, effective laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
Strong communication skills, proficiency in English, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
Comfort with educational technology tools and willingness to incorporate innovative methods in the classroom.
