Position:  Assistant Professor – Commerce Dept  (Leadership Role)

Barasat, West Bengal

Qualifications:

- Ph.D. in Commerce or a related field from a recognized institution is   MANDATORY
8–9 years of teaching, research and administrative experience  in commerce or related disciplines
3–4 years of academic leadership experience  (as HoD / Coordinator / Academic Leader) preferred
Strong administrative, organizational, and mentoring abilities
Proven research contributions and publication record in reputed journals

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide  academic and administrative leadership  to the Department of Commerce
Design and implement  innovative, industry-relevant curricula
Foster a  research-driven and collaborative culture  within the department
Mentor faculty members and promote professional growth
Build  industry linkages  for internships, placements, and experiential learning
Contribute to university-level academic planning and decision-making
