Position: HOD, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Law || Kingston Law College
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated HOD, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Law to join our Kingston Law College. Candidate having LLM with PhD and having teaching/ research/ industry experience and research papers in journals of repute may forward applications for consideration. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service to the college. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching:
- Teach law courses to undergraduate and graduate students.
- Develop and deliver high-quality lecture materials, assessments, and evaluations.
- Supervise and mentor students in research projects and dissertations.
2. Research:
- Conduct high-quality research in areas of expertise, leading to publications in reputable academic journals.
- Present research at national and international conferences.
- Collaborate with colleagues on research projects and grants.
3. Service:
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university service, including committee work and administrative tasks.
- Engage with the legal community, including practicing lawyers, judges.
- Contribute to the development of the law program, including curriculum design and accreditation.
4. Administration:
- Participate in departmental meetings and decision-making processes.
- Assist with student advising and recruitment.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

-2 years LLM with minimum 2-3years of experience for Associate and Assistant Professor (PhD preferred).
-LLM+PhD with minimum 5-7 years of experience for HOD
- A strong academic record, including a high-quality undergraduate and graduate degree in Law.
- Research experience, including publications in reputable academic journals.
