Body Shop Apprentice Technician

The ideal candidate for a Body Shop Apprentice Technician at Fred Martin Collision Center will have some hands‑on experience in the collision repair industry and a willingness to continue learning. This entry‑level role is well‑suited for a motivated, dependable team player who is eager to develop their skills while working on all makes and models in an award‑winning, fast‑paced collision repair facility.

• Perform initial teardown of vehicles
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles
• Read and understand repair estimates, communicate with estimators on any additional damage found on vehicle
• Repair vehicles according to OEM, All Data, and I‑Car specifications
• Experience in all areas of collision repairs including frame repair/replacement, plastic repair and welding
• Complete necessary training, maintain an organized, clean work area
• Ensure customers’ cars are kept clean and treated with respect

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver license
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Must be a helpful team player
• Strong collision diagnosis and problem solving skills
