Your Day to Day as an OpEx Master Black Belt- Project Leadership:
Takes charge of highly visible and complex process improvement projects, guiding them to successful outcomes. - Motivate for Success:
Inspires and directs cross-functional teams to achieve spectacular results through the masterful application of LSS principles, methodologies, and tools. - Provide Technical Expertise:
Offers insightful technical guidance and support, positioning you as a go-to resource for your team. - Cultivate Future Leaders:
Mentors Master Black Belts, Black Belts, Green Belts, and Yellow Belts through their certification journeys, fostering the next generation of leaders. - Certification Reviews:
Conducts independent reviews for Black Belt certifications, ensuring high standards of excellence. - Enhance Learning:
Provides constructive feedback during dry runs and participates in project report‑outs, promoting a culture of growth and improvement. - Training Design & Delivery:
Designs, develops, and delivers engaging training programs that support LSS deployment and elevate capabilities across the organization. - Measure Success:
Estimates both soft and hard benefits (Cost of Poor Quality - COPQ) for a variety of process improvement projects, showcasing your impact on the bottom line.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of related LSS or Continuous Improvement experience, along with Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
- Masterful Expertise:
Proven experience as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with a track record of driving change and delivering results. - Change Management Guru:
Demonstrable change management expertise, with the ability to influence and secure commitment at all organizational levels. - Talented Facilitator: A skilled facilitator with a knack for leading diverse teams and forging positive working relationships.
- Exceptional Coach:
Successful leadership experience in coaching, teaching, and mentoring others to elevate their skills. - Interpersonal Excellence:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills that enable you to connect effectively with others. - Diverse Background:
Functional experience across multiple disciplines such as engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project management. - Results-Driven: A focus on driving change; results-oriented with strong business acumen, technical aptitude, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Must be able to report to work at our office location; please note that this position is fully onsite.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

Pay: $136,000 - $203,000
Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter. Position requires U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation, drug test and previous employment reference verifications.
