Laboratory Technician – Mixing & Molding Department
Akron Rubber Development Laboratory, Inc., an industry-leading testing laboratory for rubber, plastic and latex is looking to fill the position of Laboratory Technician for our Mixing and Molding Department.
Location: On-site | Barberton, Ohio
Hours: Full-time
Required Capabilities- Performs lab work as assigned from Supervisory Personnel
- Responsible for lab-scale mixing
- Hands-on Experience with Polymers
- Works well in a group environment
- Works closely with other technicians
- Energetic team player
- Attention to detail
- Help cultivates a positive work environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Experience with milling, curing black and colored rubber
- Experience running a rheometer/viscometer and compounding
High School Diploma or Equivalent work experience in a testing lab/rubber industry.
