RN Endoscopy

Join as a RN Endoscopy at Summa Health on the Barberton Campus. This part‑time position offers 20 hours per week on 7a‑3:30p/8hr shifts with an on‑call requirement.

$33.75/hr – $53.00/hr the range is a base salary exclusive of bonuses.

• Coordinate and deliver nursing care for endoscopy patients and their families.
• Use evidence‑based practice and nursing theory to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Assist with patient handling, manual dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination.

• BSN in Nursing. Associate degree holders considered; must obtain BSN within three years.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• PRN RN experience in endoscopy or related area for at least one year.
• Weekend option positions require one year of related RN experience.

• 1 year recent experience in area of practice for PRN RN.
• Additional related experience may be required for specialty units.

• Full range of body motion including lifting patients.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
• Work under stressful conditions or irregular hours.
• Exposure to communicable disease, body fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and other hazards.
• Maintain Basic Life Support, ACLS, or other required certifications.

• Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations, respecting self‑respect, dignity, and diversity.
• Additional education or certifications may be required for specialty areas (e.g., PALS, NIH, Non‑Violet Crisis Intervention).

• Heavy:
  Exerts 50–100 pounds of force occasionally, 25–50 pounds frequently, or 10–20 pounds continuously to move objects.
