SummaryThe Service Cashier is responsible for processing service and parts transactions accurately while providing friendly, professional customer service. This role supports the Service and Parts departments and plays an important role in customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Process cash, check, and credit card payments; issue receipts and refunds
- Operate and balance the cash register daily
- Close invoices and maintain accurate records
- Assist customers and direct questions to service advisors as needed
- Handle customer concerns professionally and elevate when necessary
- Provide phone coverage and clerical support to Service and Parts departments
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and professional appearance
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Strong customer service and communication skills
