• Prepare samples for processing.
• Distribute samples to different departments as appropriate.
• Follow strict safety and quality control procedures.
• Store, restock, and shelve samples as necessary.
• Ensure the work area is clean and organized.
• Enter records in the LIMS system.
• Assist the sample receiving group with unpacking coolers and labeling samples.
• Assist and oversee all aspects of storing, distributing, logging, and disposing of samples.

Basic

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• The ability to climb a step stool.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
• Pays close attention to detail.
• Exhibits ability to use LIMS software competently (will train).
• Possesses basic math skills.
• Works well with a team.
• Communicates clearly and effectively.
• Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates awareness of safety procedures.

• Position is 1st shift, Tuesday - Saturday, 9 AM–5 PM, located at our Barberton, OH location.
• Position Pay Range: $17.75 starting range based on experience.
