Bardstown Diagnostic Imaging Center

• Operates Ultrasound equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologists and performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.

• Associate's degree in Allied Health education program (diagnostic medical sonography, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing) and 12 months of full‑time clinical ultrasound/vascular experience; or Diploma or degree from an ultrasound/vascular program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Canadian Medical Association (CMA); or Bachelor's degree (any major) and 12 months of full‑time clinical ultrasound/vascular experience;
  
  or Bachelor's degree in sonography or vascular technology, or higher.
• Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Completion of ARDMS Registry within one year of employment required.
• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.
