As a Cover Supervisor in Caerphilly, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils  learning and well-being across various year groups, including Years 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes.

• Supervise and manage classroom activities for secondary school pupils in Caerphilly.
• Support pupils  educational and behavioural needs in a variety of subjects.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with the implementation of lesson plans and activities.
• Promote pupils’ well-being and ensure their safety during lessons.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams.

• Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children or in the care sector.
• A keen interest in working with children and young people.
• Open to training and professional development.
• Proactive work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Good understanding of special educational needs (SEN).
• Ability to provide support to pupils with diverse needs.
• Patience, understanding, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
