English Teacher Required - Caerphilly (4 Days per Week, Long-Term, September Start)

Aspire People are currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join a lovely and welcoming secondary school in Caerphilly for a 4-day-per-week, long-term placement starting in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and well-regarded school, teaching English across Key Stages, with the chance to make a real impact on pupil engagement, progress and attainment.

• 4 days per week, long-term position starting in September
• Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 to a mixed-ability cohort
• Planning, delivering and assessing engaging and creative lessons
• Supporting pupils to achieve strong outcomes in line with curriculum expectations
• Encouraging a love of literature and language through innovative teaching approaches
• Maintaining a positive, structured and well-managed classroom environment

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge within English
• Experience teaching up to KS4
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• A committed, enthusiastic and professional approach
• EWC registration (or willingness to register)
