Job Description & How to Apply Below

The role

We are looking for a motivated and driven Performance Marketing Manager to lead and scale our paid digital marketing activity across B2B and B2C websites. Working closely with E-commerce, Marketing and commercial teams, you will be responsible for driving profitable customer acquisition, improving conversion performance, and ensuring strong, sustainable return on digital marketing investment.

This is not a “run the status quo” role. Success comes from building a clear performance strategy, testing and scaling what works, and being accountable for outcomes. You will have the autonomy to carve out how performance marketing operates within the business, while being expected to deliver measurable commercial results.

Key responsibilities
  • Own and execute the paid digital marketing strategy across channels including Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max), Microsoft Ads, paid social, and other relevant acquisition platforms
  • Scale campaigns profitably, with clear control of ROAS, CPA, Bounce Rate and contribution margin across B2B and B2C audiences
  • Work in close partnership with SEO to ensure paid and organic activity is aligned, complementary, and commercially optimised
  • Use data to drive decision-making, from keyword and audience strategy through to landing page performance and conversion rate optimisation
  • Manage and optimise marketing budgets with a clear focus on return, incrementality, and long-term value rather than short-term volume
  • Identify and test new opportunities for growth, including new channels, formats, audiences, and propositions
  • Collaborate other teams to improve on-site conversion, journey efficiency, and checkout performance
  • Report clearly and confidently on performance, translating data into insight and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Continuously improve tracking, attribution, and measurement to ensure performance is understood and trusted across the business
What success looks like
  • Campaigns are scaled in a controlled, commercially sound way, with clear evidence of profitable growth
  • ROAS is actively managed and understood, not just reported
  • Digital marketing investment is clearly linked to revenue, margin, and customer value
  • Paid and organic acquisition work together as part of a single performance strategy
  • Primary Care UK has a clear, credible performance marketing capability that supports long-term growth
About you
  • You are highly commercial and results-driven, with a strong understanding that performance marketing exists to deliver profitable growth
  • You have hands-on experience managing and scaling paid media campaigns, ideally across both B2B and B2C environments
  • You are confident working with data, performance metrics, and attribution, and can challenge assumptions rather than relying on vanity metrics
  • You are comfortable taking ownership and accountability, including making decisions and standing behind them
  • You enjoy building things properly, not just optimising around the edges
  • You are motivated by the opportunity to make a visible impact and build a reputation for delivery within a growing organisation
  • Experience in e-commerce, healthcare, or regulated product environments
  • Exposure to multi-brand or multi-site performance strategies
  • Experience working closely with SEO, CRO, and analytics
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, GA4, Merchant Centre, and paid social platforms
Why join Primary Care UK

This is a chance to join a market-leading healthcare supplier at a point of real digital momentum. You will have the opportunity to shape how performance marketing is done, influence strategy rather than simply execute briefs, and build something that has a clear, measurable impact on the business.

For the right individual, this role offers visibility, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a name for yourself by delivering results that matter.
