Foreperson - Latex Backing Plant An excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual to learn a specialist manufacturing process and develop their skills within a busy production environment. Bacup, Lancashire (OL13 9RZ
) Full-time £12.71 per hour  overtime @ £15.88 (over 39 hours) 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday. 6:00am - 6:00pm (4:00pm finish on Fridays) Overtime available at weekends when required The role This is a hands-on role where you will learn all aspects of running the latex coating machines. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will gain knowledge of the production process and support a range of factory operations.

Key responsibilities Learn all aspects of operating the latex coating machines. Mix latex for production. Sew fabrics as part of the manufacturing process. Carry out batching duties. Complete quality control checks. Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Support other duties around the factory as required. Skills and experience Experience working with similar machinery preferred. Mechanically minded. Mature attitude. Quick to learn.

Intelligent and willing to develop new skills. Able to undertake some heavy lifting (up to 60-70kg aided). Willing to work at least half a day on Saturdays or Sundays when overtime is required. Click apply today You must be authorised to work in the UK. No agencies please. Related job titles:
