Role Overview
Magda Butrym is looking for a Freelance Fabric Manager/Sourcer to support our creative team in sourcing and selecting fabrics that align with our seasonal mood-boards and collection needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Working closely with the Creative Director and design studio to understand the seasonal mood and material direction.
* Sourcing fabrics that match our creative vision, aesthetic, and technical requirements.
* Coordination with fabric suppliers to request samples, prices, and lead times.
* Building and maintaining a small, curated fabric library for each season.
* Ensuring the timely delivery of fabric samples for the design and product development teams.
* Briefing production team on seasonal fabrics and supporting the department in communication with suppliers.
Profile
* Strong knowledge of textiles and fabric sourcing
* Organized, proactive, and good at communication
* Able to work independently as a freelancer
* No less than 4 years of experience working for leading fashion brands
* Understanding of Magda Butrym brand aesthetic
* Ability to work under time pressure
* Working proficiency in English
