As the company continues to grow, they are looking to bring in a Trainee Administrator to support their operations and office function, offering a genuine opportunity to learn, develop, and build a long-term career within the construction and highways sector.

The Role

This is an entry-level administrative role, ideal for someone looking to start their career in construction/highways administration. You will receive full training and ongoing support, working closely with the operations and management team.

The role will involve a mix of general office administration, site support, and project coordination tasks.

Key Responsibilities

* General office administration and document management

* Answering phones and handling email enquiries

* Data entry and record keeping

* Assisting with job sheets, site paperwork and reports

* Supporting project and operations teams with admin tasks

* Filing, scanning, and maintaining digital records

* Assisting with compliance documentation and health & safety paperwork

* Liaising with site teams and supervisors

* Supporting scheduling and job tracking

About You

* This role would suit someone who is:

* Organised and reliable

* Willing to learn and develop new skills

* Confident communicating by phone and email

* Comfortable using computers and basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

* Proactive and positive in attitude

* Able to work well in a team environment

* No previous construction or highways experience is required – full training will be provided.
