Transport Clerk

Location: Barking

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established distribution company based in Barking. We’re currently looking for an experienced, energetic Transport Clerk to become a valued member of their friendly team permanently.

The role will involve a wide range of transport operational responsibilities and administrative tasks. You will support their Transport team by carrying out various clerical activities, whilst contributing to the day-to-day running of the department.

Duties, but not limited to:

* Driver debriefs

* Handling returns and collections

* Handling customers' complaints

* Data Entry into systems

* Liaising with distribution teams to ensure high-quality service

* Uphold high standards of service

* Scanning documents

* Checking delivery status

* General administration tasks

Candidate requirement:

* Driver debriefs experience essential

* Organised

* Excellent computer skills

* High attention to detail

* Great communicator with strong interpersonal skills

* Previous Transport Clerk/Administrator experience

Salary:

From 1pm-7pm is £14.02 and from 7pm – 10pm is £15.53

Shifts MON-FRI 1pm – 10pm

28 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays)

These roles are for an immediate start.

These roles are permanent after 13 weeks, subject to satisfactory performance and attendance.
