A well-established and high-performing secondary school in Dagenham is seeking an enthusiastic ECT Physics Teacher to join their successful Science department from September 2026 (earlier starts considered).
This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher looking to complete their induction within a school known for strong mentoring, supportive leadership and clear behaviour systems that allow teachers to focus on teaching.
ECT Physics Teacher
- The Role
* Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4
* Planning and delivering engaging, knowledge-rich lessons
* Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve strong academic progress
* Working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced Science faculty
* Participating in a structured ECT induction programme
* Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
ECT Physics Teacher - The School
* Oversubscribed and well-regarded secondary school
* Strong Science department with excellent resources and laboratory facilities
* Proven track record of supporting and developing ECTs
* Clear and consistent behaviour management policies
* Leadership team focused on staff wellbeing and progression
* Excellent transport links across East London and Essex
ECT Physics Teacher - Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS
* Degree in Physics or Science with a Physics specialism
* Passion for delivering high-quality Science education
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Commitment to professional development
