Management Accountant

Due to continued expansion, a newly created opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join their growing team and play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s ambitious future plans.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be instrumental in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and practical support to guide key strategic decisions across the business. You will work closely with senior management, contributing to both operational and strategic activities, while taking ownership of core financial processes including management accounts, forecasting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and present monthly management accounts, performance reports, and financial dashboards.
Deliver detailed balance sheet reconciliations, aged debtor and retention reporting, and margin analysis.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Oversee sales ledger and credit control functions, ensuring accuracy and timely collection.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial insight aligns with business performance.
Support system improvements and process development within the finance function.

The ideal candidate will be part or qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, with proven experience in management accounting, ideally gained within the construction, property, or a related industry. You’ll have a solid understanding of CIS and other construction-specific accounting practices, alongside strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint.

Experience with modern finance systems or ERP software would be highly advantageous.

You’ll be proactive, organised, and commercially minded, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach that fits naturally within a close-knit team environment.
