Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Longbridge

A well-established South Birmingham based organisation is currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their Central Finance team on a permanent basis. This is a progressive opportunity, ideal for a part-qualified accountant or someone who is actively working towards qualification and looking to grow within a supportive and structured finance environment.

The main purpose of this Assistant Management Accountant role will be to support the production of month-end accounts, take ownership of central cost reporting and payroll-related accounting, and act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders. This Assistant Management Accountant position is designed to develop over time, offering increasing responsibility as you progress through your studies.

Ideally you will;

* Be part-qualified or actively studying (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with approximately 1 year of finance experience

* Have experience working in a similar Assistant Management Accountant or finance role with exposure to month end

* Have experience preparing journals, accruals and prepayments

* Have experience with balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts

* Be confident using Excel (pivot tables, formulas etc.)
