Are you an experienced children's social worker who is confident in care proceedings and public law? Pro Social Partners are working in partnership with the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham to recruit a Social Worker or Senior Social Worker into their Court and Assessment Team. This is a permanent role for someone who does their best work when the stakes are high.

About the team and the role The Court and Assessment Team holds the children who are subject to care proceedings, so it is demanding, high profile work where good practice really shows. Day to day you will:
Progress children through the Public Law Outline and care proceedings Write clear, robust court reports, statements and care plans that stand up to scrutiny Complete thorough assessments of children and families Work closely with legal colleagues, guardians and the courts Why this is a great move This is a permanent role in an established east London service, so you can build real expertise in court work, which is some of the most respected and transferable practice in childrens social care.

Barking and Dagenham is well connected across London and the role is open at both Social Worker and Senior Social Worker level, so it suits you whether you are stepping up or already senior. About you Registered with Social Work England A recognised social work qualification
