Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver – Barking, Essex

CSS is currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver for one of our clients based in Barking, Essex.

We are looking for candidates with previous Class 1 experience to drive from Barking to nationwide areas. Previous port experience would also be desirable.

• Loading containers
• Making sure that the containers are securely contained
• Driving to different areas of London and Essex
• Following all H&S procedures

Starting date – Immediate. Temp work which will be ongoing. After 12 weeks a possibility to go on perm. Pay starting at £17.77.

Monday to Friday – 6am start which will be a 10/11 hour shift.

• Previous port experience desirable
• Previous references required
• 12 months of experience with the Class 1
• Own transport required due to location and shift times. Public transport not available

• PPE can be provided
• Holiday can be accrued when working
