The Vacancy RSRT Counsellor - Right Support Right Time (RSRT) Project Base

Newry or Enniskillen Salary: £32,708.00 - £37,964.53 per annum Make a Difference Through Early Intervention and Recovery Inspire is seeking compassionate, skilled and motivated Counsellors to join our innovative Right Support Right Time (RSRT) project. This exciting cross-border initiative is designed to provide timely, person-centred mental health support to individuals experiencing mild to moderate emotional and psychological difficulties, helping to build resilience, improve wellbeing and prevent deterioration.

Working within a trauma-informed, stepped-care model, you will deliver evidence-based counselling interventions that empower people to overcome challenges and achieve meaningful change in their lives. About the Project The Right Support Right Time (RSRT) project is a partnership between Inspire, Mencap, Cedar, Apex, Respond, DePaul and the Red Cross. The programme aims to improve mental health and wellbeing, strengthen community resilience and increase access to early intervention supports across Northern Ireland and the border region.

The project focuses particularly on supporting individuals and communities who are more likely to experience emotional distress and less likely to access traditional mental health services, including:
People living in areas of deprivation People with disabilities, including learning and intellectual disabilities Refugees, people seeking international protection and vulnerable migrants The RSRT project is supported by the PEACEPLUS Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). About the Role As an RSRT Counsellor, you will provide time-limited, evidence-based counselling interventions to individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health and psychosocial difficulties, including:
Anxiety and low mood Trauma-related presentations Substance misuse Self-harming behaviours You will work collaboratively with service users to identify goals, build resilience and develop practical coping strategies while ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care.
