services. This role ensures compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing
Practice), health and safety standards, and environmental regulations while delivering efficient,
cost-effective, and sustainable facilities solutions that support core manufacturing operations
Develop and implement the site facilities strategy aligned with business objectives and
regulatory requirements.
Ensure all facilities operations comply with GMP, MHRA, FDA, and other relevant
pharmaceutical regulations.
Oversee Hard and Soft IFM Services including Building Maintenance, Pest Control,
Cleaning, Catering and Grounds through service level agreements (SLA) to ensure
maintenance and all legislative requirements are met.
Oversee Managed Contracts covering Utilities, Warehouse and Laboratories.
Prepare and Manage Annual Facilities Budget, ensuring cost control and value delivery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost
optimisation.
Responsible person for Facility related activities Lifts, Asbestos, Legionella, etc.
Act as the client for site Facility based Projects in order to deliver upgrades,
replacement and repairs to facilities, and/or infrastructure.
Liaise with area owners and stakeholders to identify facility based repairs and improvements
in accordance with GMP practices.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to facilitate the Facilities Financial plan and Site
Implementation Plan.
Prior experience maintaining Facilities
Familiar with cGMPs, regulatory guidelines, governmental codes, and standard operating procedures.
Prior experience in managing operating budgets >1M and demonstrated performance in budget / schedule adherence
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organisation and interact/influence effectively at all levels of management and peers.
Prior experience in regulatory audits.
Strong technical, computational, and communications skills, both verbal and written and ability to thrive in a matrix setting
Bachelors Degree or a relevant technical experience and 2 years of related work experience
Area of Specialisation Facilities in GMP, or Regulated Background.
