Long Term Futures are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the Barnet area. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children across KS1 and KS2, helping them progress academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive learning environment while providing additional support to pupils who may require extra guidance.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support across KS1 and KS2
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
• Support pupils with varying learning needs, including mild SEND
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Deliver targeted interventions to support literacy, numeracy, and social development
• Build supportive and trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

• Experience working with children in a school or education setting
• Strong communication and behaviour‑management skills
• A proactive, patient, and nurturing approach
• Passion for supporting children's development and learning
• Understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing, and classroom best practice

• Complimentary CPD training, including Behaviour Support & SEND Awareness
