Teach Now is delighted to be recruiting a passionate Nursery Teacher for a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barnet, starting ASAP and continuing until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an Outstanding Early Years provision, recently recognised by Ofsted (June 2025) for its high-quality teaching and the way children thrive from their very first days at school.

The Nursery benefits from an integrated EYFS setting with a full cohort in the mornings and a small group of up to 10 children in the afternoons, allowing for meaningful interactions and high-impact teaching. You will be supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant, enabling you to focus on delivering engaging, play-based learning tailored to each child’s needs.

The role includes:

• Planning and delivering a rich EYFS curriculum covering early literacy, numeracy, language, physical and social development

• Creating a nurturing, inclusive and well-structured learning environment

• Supporting children with SEND and those from diverse backgrounds

• Working collaboratively with EYFS colleagues and support staff

• Preparing children confidently for the transition into Reception

Salary: £37,868 – £56,154 (pay in line with teacher pay scales)
