The child, newly enrolled with an EHCP, requires consistent and nurturing support to access learning and build emotional regulation. This is your chance to make a lasting impact from their very first year in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a Reception child with speech and language, sensory, and emotional needs.

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement learning and care plans.

• Create a calm, engaging environment that supports emotional regulation and early communication.

• Support the wider EYFS team when needed, contributing to classroom activities and routines.

Requirements

• Experience working with young children in EYFS, ideally in a 1:1 or SEN capacity.

• Knowledge of EHCPs, speech and language support, or sensory needs is desirable.

• A warm, patient and proactive approach.

• A genuine passion for helping young learners thrive.
