Modern Foreign Languages Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting April 2026

Duties as Modern Foreign Languages Teacher:
Teach Modern Foreign Languages across relevant secondary year groups
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
Maintain consistent behaviour expectations and a positive classroom environment
Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs and abilities
Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative curriculum development
Support pupils in building confidence and enthusiasm for language learning
Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Modern Foreign Languages Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching MFL
Confident teaching at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge in one or more modern foreign languages
Effective behaviour and classroom management skills
Good organisational, communication, and teamwork abilities
Reflective, proactive, and committed to delivering high‑quality lessons
Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
