Art Graduate Barnet September 2026 Start

Are you an Art Graduate looking to train as a teacher while gaining hands‑on classroom experience in an inclusive secondary school?

A secondary school in Barnet is looking to appoint an Art Graduate to join their team as a Trainee Art Teacher from September 2026. This is an excellent Art Graduate opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about Art and interested in building a long‑term career in education while working towards QTS.

The school is seeking an Art Graduate who is creative, resilient and eager to develop their confidence in the classroom. As a Trainee Art Teacher, you will support pupils across KS3 and KS4 while gradually taking on greater teaching responsibility throughout the academic year.

What the Art Graduate role includes
  • Full‑time salaried Trainee Art Teacher position
  • £28,000 annual salary minimum
  • One‑year teacher training programme leading to QTS
  • Supporting and teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4

Art Graduate Person Specification
  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Art, Fine Art, Graphic Design or a related subject

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced school setting
