• Based in Barnet
• Full‑time role (Monday to Friday)
• £565‑£575 weekly (Term time only)
• September 2026 start

• Hold a science degree (2:2 or above)
• Have a passion for science
• Have a strong knowledge of the Biology, Chemistry and Physics GCSE curriculum
• Have a DBS on the update service (preferred not essential)
• Have high expectations when teaching students and help them reach their full potential
• Be creative and enthusiastic
• Be able to keep students engaged and motivated
• Have great communication skills

As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will be working within the Science department supporting students during lessons. Your role as a Science Teaching Assistant will include providing classroom support alongside the classroom teacher, creating resources for students to use during the lesson, leading small groups and 1:1 outside the classroom (high achievers and low ability), help plan science lessons for the week, mark students work and provide feedback when necessary.
