Teacher of the Deaf - Primary Setting | September Start

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of the Deaf to join a specialist primary provision in Barnet, from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of deaf and hearing‑impaired pupils within a supportive and highly specialised educational environment. The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to deaf and hearing‑impaired pupils.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with specialist staff, support teams and families.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to individual learning plans.
• Promote communication, independence and confidence within the classroom.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working with deaf or hearing‑impaired pupils is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs.

• Free SEND workshop – Online.
• Free Team Teach Level 1 Training – Online.
• Excellent rates of pay.
• Full‑time – 5 days a week.
• Opportunity for a permanent contract.
• Contract 12‑39 weeks. This role is available on a long‑term basis from September and offers the opportunity to work within a highly rewarding specialist setting.
