The school are seeking a Year 2 Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupils' development across Key Stage 1 and create a positive classroom environment.
Responsibilities- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 2 curriculum
- Supporting pupils' academic and social development
Monitoring pupil progress and providing targeted support where needed - Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with the KS1 team
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a primary classroom setting
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- Confidence in behaviour management
- A positive and proactive attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for primary education
