This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, or experienced education professionals looking to gain further classroom experience. As a Cover Supervisor:
You will be responsible for delivering pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher, maintaining positive behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged and focused throughout lessons. You will work across a variety of subjects and year groups, gaining valuable experience within a secondary school environment. The schools offer supportive leadership teams, strong behaviour policies, and a positive learning environment where staff are valued and supported.

The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting Be confident managing classroom behaviour Have strong communication and organisational skills Have a genuine interest in education and supporting students Why work with Horizon Teachers?
