Are you an experienced Primary Teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs?

A welcoming primary school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated and skilled Teacher to work within their on-site Alternative Provision
, supporting a small group of 12 pupils with additional needs
. This is a full-time, long-term role starting in September, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a highly supportive setting.

You will be working alongside a team of 4 experienced support staff
, delivering tailored learning to meet a range of needs. The school offers excellent facilities, including a sensory room
, and prides itself on creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for both staff and pupils.

This role is suited to a qualified and experienced teacher (QTS essential, no ECTs) with a strong background in SEN and additional needs
.

• Hold QTS (essential) with proven classroom experience
• Have strong experience teaching pupils with additional needs
• Be confident adapting lessons to meet individual learning requirements
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and emotional support strategies
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Supportive and experienced Senior Leadership Team
• A collaborative team of 4 additional staff within the provision
• Excellent SEN facilities, including a dedicated sensory room
• A nurturing, inclusive environment focused on pupil wellbeing
• Long-term opportunity with potential for extension
